e are impressed by the amount of control Judy Nakari demonstrates when she is painting in watercolors - especially since watercolor paint is notoriously difficult to control. Sometimes she reins it in to capture more detail and sometimes she lets it go for a more free-flowing and impressionist composition. But the result is superb, no matter what technique she is using. She says, "I have a passion for art, and in particular for watercolor. I've studied with many of the best teachers and painters, sometimes in exotic locales around the world, absorbing, admiring, painting - all the while developing my style. My real teacher, however, has been the process of creating art, pursuing an essential radiance both from nature and from the human figure, and allowing the Divine creative process to take over. 'Accidents' in the creative process are treated as gifts and possibilities." Judy has received numerous awards in both state and national art exhibitions.
