e think you'll like the rich colors, bold compositions, and varied painting styles in Pat Parkinson's works of art. Frequently, Pat captures the beauty of the Southwest in her paintings. But she's not limited by that - she can paint whatever she wants, beautifully. Pat grew up in upstate New York, began her art training at college there, and worked as a commercial illustrator before moving to the Western U.S. Pat has furthered her art studies with William Reese and the late Sergei Bongart and at the Scottsdale Art School in Arizona. Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards and has exhibited in many juried shows. Her works are displayed in various corporate collections in the Northwest, as well as private collections throughout the U.S. She works almost exclusively in oil and says, "My ambition is to paint a broad range of subject matter so I can best express myself with whatever responses and emotions I feel at the time."
